Hi, I’m Justin and I have Strategic in my top 5. As someone who is Strategic, I’m able to see all the possibilities and alternatives in a situation. In fact, when my friends come to me with a problem, I’m able to find them the best course of action — a strategy to success.
With my Strategic theme, I’m able to ask the right questions and find the right plan to get the desired results. When I work on a project, I’m able to generate different ideas that can help me fulfil the needs and aspirations of the project. When I work with friends, I’m able to give them sound advice and help them make right decisions at a fast pace, especially during critical points in a project. I’m able to cut through the clutter and get to the best outcome.
I like to consider all my possibilities before making a decision, like people’s backgrounds, personalities, strengths and weaknesses. When I’m playing board games, I’m able to see all the paths leading to success, and I’m able to alter my course as I go along. When I’m playing with friends, sometimes I let them win, if I know that it’ll make them feel better. As you know, the saying goes, “lose the battle, win the war.”
Sometimes people tell me that I think too much, especially when I haven’t considered all my options. Others feel that they can’t keep up with my thinking and they perceive me to be somewhat closed-off. I try to tell them that this is really my Strategic theme at work and inform them of my point of view. The Strategic theme is the natural mind map to see the light at the end of the tunnel. You can count on me to find the best alternative and the way to move forward.
